Health precautions

A certificate of vaccination against the yellow fever is required from travelers coming from infected areas. The risk of Malaria exists from March till end November in the provinces of Hormozgan, Kerman (tropical area) and Sistan-Baluchistan. There is a limited risk in certain areas in the north of Zagros and in the west and south-west areas during the summer months. Resistance of P, falciparum to chloroquine indicated. Disease prevention recommended in the risk areas: CHL; in south-east, C+P.
